Not everything makes it onto the website, so ASK ME if you have a particular request ( like FLUORITE for instance ) and I will be happy to source those individual mineral requests for you.

ABOUT.....
About........
Firstly, let me introduce myself. My name is Colleen Thomson, and I am based 50 miles North of London, England, in the lovely County of Buckinghamshire.
I have been an avid mineral collector for the best part of 25 years, and my house is in imminent danger of imploding under the weight of rocks! I may yet be killed by a rockfall in my own lounge one day.

Let me just point out that this is not my main business - I already have a full time job slaving over a hot hairdryer.
The website came about because I felt the need to 'recycle' some of my collection, and because it will hopefully provide me with funds to upgrade some of my specimens. A hopeless rock addict to the last!

As many of my regulars will know, I am also delighted to support the Greenlaws Mining Project Team, who are exploring; mapping and recording their finds in this Lead Mine that closed in 1897. I will try to post regular updates on the project.

Enjoy perusing the galleries and I am sure there will be a treasure waiting for you to re home amongst the many eye catching minerals we have available.
. If you do not see anything on the site you like - just ask, I may not have gotten around to photographing it yet!
